Odoo price in Saudi Arabia: list prices in SAR as of 17 October 2026

In Saudi Arabia, Odoo Standard costs US$16.90 per user per month on yearly billing (about SAR 63) before tax, or US$13.50 (about SAR 51) in the first year. Hosting on Odoo Online is included; implementation by a partner or by Odoo is quoted separately.

On 17 October 2026, Odoo's pricing page showed these list prices to a visitor in Saudi Arabia, in US dollars and before tax. The SAR figures are our conversion at the 3.75 peg, not prices Odoo publishes:

  • One App Free: one app of your choice with unlimited users, at no cost.
  • Standard, yearly billing: US$16.90 per user per month (about SAR 63), or US$13.50 (about SAR 51) in the first year.
  • Standard, monthly billing: US$21.10 (about SAR 79), or US$16.90 in the first year.
  • Custom, yearly billing: US$32.00 (SAR 120), or US$25.50 (about SAR 96) in the first year.
  • Custom, monthly billing: US$40.00 (SAR 150), or US$32.00 in the first year.

Both paid plans include every app for one per-user fee; you do not pay per app. The first-year discount lasts 12 months and covers only the users in your first order. Odoo prices by country, and what a Saudi visitor sees differs from the US prices repeated in many global articles. Check Odoo's pricing page from the Kingdom on the day you buy, and remember that Odoo's fees exclude taxes.

The free Community edition lacks the full Accounting app, Studio and Payroll, so this guide prices the paid plans.

Odoo price per user in Saudi Arabia: who counts and what moves you to Custom

Odoo charges per user, and its user definition surprises many Saudi buyers.

  • Paying users: anyone with backend access who creates, views or edits documents. Odoo's pricing FAQ adds HR employee records with no linked user; the subscription agreement bills those as Light Users.
  • Free: portal customers and suppliers, and website or eCommerce visitors.
  • Light User: US$5.90 a month for Saudi visitors (about SAR 22), quoted only by an Odoo Advisor. It covers accounts set to the Light role, limited to tasks such as time off, expenses, attendance or barcode operations, and employee records with no linked user, such as staff who only get payslips or work the POS. The role arrived in Odoo 20, and the agreement applies it only where your version supports it; on Odoo 19 or older, get Odoo's billing of those records in writing.

Standard runs only on Odoo Online. These choices move every user to Custom:

  • Odoo Studio, unless it is your one free app.
  • Agentic AI, listed beside Studio on the pricing page; before you build AI agents, ask Odoo in writing whether yours needs Custom.
  • Multi-company, common in family groups with a commercial registration (CR) per business.
  • External API, such as a Salla or Zid connector calling into Odoo. Calls Odoo itself makes to payment providers, carriers or bank sync stay on Standard.
  • Hosting on Odoo.sh or your own servers.

On yearly billing, Custom adds US$15.10 (about SAR 57) per user per month: about SAR 6,800 a year for 10 users from year two.

A 3-year Odoo budget in SAR for a 10-user Saudi company

Take a Jeddah building-materials trader running Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting and one showroom POS for 10 office users. At Odoo's Saudi list prices of 17 October 2026, before tax, converted at 3.75 and excluding implementation:

  • Standard on Odoo Online: SAR 6,075 in year one (10 × US$13.50 × 12), then SAR 7,605 a year at today's list. Three-year total: about SAR 21,285.
  • Custom with a minimal Odoo.sh setup: SAR 14,805 in year one (SAR 11,475 licence plus SAR 3,330 hosting), then SAR 17,730 a year. Three-year total: about SAR 50,265.

So custom code costs about SAR 29,000 more over three years, before any development is billed. Neither line includes a cashier who has only an employee record: get that person quoted as a Light User, or budget a paying user.

Developer lens: put a SAR figure on each requirement before you approve it.

  • Arabic-English invoices and receipts: standard. Enable Gulf Cooperation Council Format in Accounting settings and in Point of Sale settings. No licence change.
  • An extra field on delivery orders built with Studio: every user moves to Custom, about SAR 57 more per user per month.
  • A Salla or Zid connector calling Odoo's External API: Custom for every user.
  • A second company with its own CR: Custom for every user.
  • A custom Python module: Custom plus Odoo.sh or your own servers, and porting work at every major upgrade.

For each custom request, ask in writing what standard Odoo lacks.

What a Saudi quote adds on top of the licence: ZATCA Wave 25, Mudad and Success Packs

Implementation is priced on scope; our guide to choosing an Odoo partner in Saudi Arabia explains fixed-fee and time-and-material quotes. The closest official public reference is Odoo's Success Packs at Saudi new-customer prices, first pack only, converted at 3.75:

  • Basic, 25 hours: US$2,040, about SAR 7,650.
  • Standard, 50 hours: US$3,570, about SAR 13,388.
  • Custom, 100 hours: US$6,375, about SAR 23,906.
  • Pro, 200 hours: US$12,750, about SAR 47,813.

Even Basic costs more than a first year of Standard for 10 users. Travel is billed extra, and Odoo says companies above 50 employees usually work with a local partner.

Saudi lines a quote should name:

  • ZATCA Phase 2. The l10n_sa_edi and l10n_sa_edi_pos modules are free, so you pay for onboarding: a FATOORA OTP for each sales journal (each OTP expires after 60 minutes), a Simulation run on a duplicate database, and clean company, branch and customer data. Under ZATCA's announcement of 24 July 2026, Wave 25 covers taxpayers whose VAT-subject revenue exceeded SAR 187,500 in 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025, with integration due by 1 February 2027.
  • Payroll: how the salary file your bank or Mudad expects will be produced, and who maintains it.
  • SMS: Odoo's own SMS service lists Saudi Arabia as unsupported, so Saudi numbers need a gateway such as Twilio through Odoo's Twilio SMS module, billed by that provider.
  • POS printers: networked Epson ePOS printers need no IoT system; USB and other ESC/POS printers need an IoT box or Windows virtual IoT.

Hosting cost in Saudi Arabia: Odoo Online, Odoo.sh or your own servers

Short answer: Odoo Online adds nothing, minimal Odoo.sh adds about SAR 3,330 a year on top of the Custom plan, and your own servers add hardware and an administrator. Our Odoo Online vs Odoo.sh guide for Saudi Arabia covers data location and ZATCA testing.

  • Odoo Online: included in both paid plans, with storage up to 100 GB at no extra fee, but no custom Python modules.
  • Odoo.sh: the Custom plan plus hosting. On yearly billing, US$57.60 a month per worker (SAR 216), US$14.40 per staging environment (SAR 54) and US$0.20 per GB (SAR 0.75); monthly billing costs 25% more. One worker, one staging environment and 10 GB: US$74 a month.
  • Your own servers: the Custom plan plus hardware, backup storage, monitoring and an administrator's salary for patching, backups and upgrades.

On Odoo.sh, keep the staging branch even though Odoo does not back it up automatically and deletes its database after a month; rebuild it from a production copy before each upgrade or e-invoicing test.

If your legal counsel reads the PDPL as requiring every copy of your data to stay in the Kingdom, Odoo Online is out: its backups are replicated in Europe and Canada, with no choice of region. That puts Custom and your own servers into the price.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Odoo Enterprise cost per user per month in Saudi Arabia?

Odoo Enterprise is sold as the Standard and Custom plans. As Odoo's pricing page showed them in Saudi Arabia on 17 October 2026, Standard was US$16.90 per user per month on yearly billing (about SAR 63) and Custom US$32.00 (SAR 120), or US$13.50 and US$25.50 in the first year. Monthly billing was US$21.10 and US$40.00. Prices are in US dollars, exclude tax and can change, so check Odoo's pricing page from the Kingdom before you buy.

Does connecting a Salla or Zid store to Odoo change the Odoo price?

Usually yes. A connector that runs outside Odoo and calls Odoo's API counts as External API, which needs the Custom plan: US$32.00 (SAR 120) per user per month on yearly billing instead of US$16.90 (about SAR 63) for Standard, as listed for Saudi visitors on 17 October 2026. A connector built as a custom Odoo module also needs Custom, plus Odoo.sh or your own servers. Calls Odoo itself makes to payment providers or carriers stay on Standard, so ask the connector vendor which way it works.

How does Odoo subscription renewal work, and does the price go up?

It renews automatically for the same term unless either side gives written notice at least 30 days before the end. The first-year discount stops after 12 months: for 10 Standard users, US$1,620 (about SAR 6,075) in year one becomes US$2,028 (about SAR 7,605). Renewal prices below list can rise by up to 7% a year, users added mid-term are billed at list, and a database older than the three latest majors can be charged 25% extra once a year, no earlier than six months after a new major release.

How much does Odoo Studio cost in Saudi Arabia?

Studio has no separate price. Installing it on a paid database moves you to the Custom plan, which for Saudi visitors on 17 October 2026 meant US$32.00 per user per month on yearly billing instead of US$16.90 for Standard. The exception is One App Free, where Studio can be your single free app. Before moving every user to Custom for a few fields or a bilingual invoice, check standard settings first: the Gulf Cooperation Council Format option in Accounting settings already prints invoices in Arabic and English.
